Uvex Helmet Exxential II MIPS Black

The Uvex Exxential ll MIPS combines the lightweight properties of an inmould helmet with the tried-and-true Multi-Directional Impact Protection System for the utmost in safety (MIPS).

MIPS, which was developed in Sweden, protects the human brain from rotational movements in the event of an accident.

To do this, a moveable second shell is installed between the helmet's inner padding and outer shell.

Fits directly on the head and may be adjusted for height and width for further protection: if the rider lands at an angle in a fall, the rotational force imparted is dissipated by the MIPS inner shell's motion rather than being passed to the head.

For riders with long hair, a height-adjustable MIPS provides additional protection against rotating forces and includes a ponytail cut-out.

VG1 01.040 2014-12 Safety Standards are met.
