The Gibson Half Breed redefines versatility and comfort with its innovative SHXP technology. Built on a fully adjustable, lightweight, and flexible tree, this saddle includes removable 12mm contoured wool felt panels that can be easily swapped out or upgraded to 22mm—ensuring a precise fit across a wide range of horse shapes. Whether you're riding for work or pleasure, this saddle adapts quickly and comfortably.
Fitted with a medium gullet as standard, it comes complete with complimentary narrow, wide, and extra wide gullet plates, making it a truly customizable solution. The balanced seat offers excellent support while maintaining close contact, promoting a correct riding position and a secure feel.
Crafted from premium roughout leather with a super-grip suede seat and moulded poley knee pads, the Gibson Half Breed is built for durability and rider stability. Features include adjustable swinging fenders, aluminium oxbows, traditional billet and latigo girthing, and front and rear dee ring attachments—making it ideal for general riding, trail, breaking, polocrosse, and station work.
Available in Havana leather with a contrasting black seat, with a short fender option offered. Includes a 5-year warranty on the tree.
Note: Half breed saddles are measured including the pommel; inner seat measurements are approximately 2.5" smaller than the labelled size.
