This training plate has a slightly coarser nail placement for horses with stronger hooves. Both the front and hind shoes have an extra nail hole punched nearer to the toe, which is ideal for horses being shod more regular. The slightly wider and thicker section has a more bevelled edge to reduce the possibilities of brushing etc. The hind shoe comes in one symmetrical shape which is preferred by some farriers.
