It is made from the finest American cowhide and is tanned using a vegetable pit tanning process, which is unique to Oregon leather. There is no lacquer used on the surface finish, which is completely natural.
This is possible because each hide is hand selected for its blemish free appearance prior to being processed.
Monkey Grip Oregon Black

Prior to sale, the leather is pre-oiled to give it a soft and supple appearance while also increasing its durability.
It is recommended that leather be cleaned with saddle soap on a regular basis and treated with a high quality leather oil every few months to ensure that it retains its suppleness and strength for a long time.

Designed to be attached to the dees at the front of the saddle, monkey grips are a popular choice for riders.
In addition to providing security for beginners and children, they can aid in the maintenance of balance when
training young horses.
